Huntsman Cancer Institute
The Huntsman Cancer Institute mission is to better understand cancer from its beginning, develop new and more effective treatments, and to educate the world on the cancer risks, prevention, and care. It was founded in 1995 by Jon Huntsman Sr and has since then grown and now consists of many more programs and disease centers around the country. Huntsman through research has started up multiple different programs to find the cure for cancer. Huntsman continues to conduct studies on how to control cancerous cell growth, experiment with different types of treatments for cancerous cells, and ways to make cancer control more effective.
